According to a report by Spanish outlet AS, West Ham United are keen on a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur and Man City target, Yassine Bounou.
In fact, it has been reported that Antonio Conte’s side bid in excess of £17 million to sign the ‘excellent’ Moroccan No.1, who they remain interested in signing ahead of next season. Furthermore, Pep Guardiola’s side were also reportedly intrigued by the prospect of signing the World Cup sensation, as claimed last month.
However, it seems West Ham have also set their sights on signing Yassine Bounou, despite the reported interest from both Tottenham and Man City.

With Spurs eyeing a potential long-term successor to the currently injured Hugo Lloris and City could well replace either Ederson or Stefan Orteta, going by the speculation.
However, AS have reported that West Ham also remain ‘interested’ in bringing Yassine Bounou from Sevilla to the London Stadium, despite Tottenham and Man City being queued up to sign him in the summer.
In addition, the Spanish side’s goalkeeper is considered as their most ‘sellable’ asset, who has a ‘fluctuating’ release clause that could be worth £44 million.

With David Moyes’ men currently battling relegation, it would be a shock if the sought-after shotstopper picks East London over his next destination instead of the blue side of Manchester or the white half of North London.
Especially in the case of Tottenham instead of West Ham, it is unlikely that Yassine Bounou chooses to join the latter, with it seemingly highly improbable that Man City sign a new goalkeeper, just a year after securing the services of Stefan Ortega.
Now, only time will tell just how much the Hammers dream of seeing him don claret and blue.
