West Ham United sources have stated to HITC that agreements are in place for the Hammers to sign two players this summer.

Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham United have been busy in the summer transfer window with the Spaniard replacing David Moyes as manager of the East London club.

West Ham signed Wolves’ Max Kilman earlier in the summer transfer window with the English defender joining the Hammers for £40 million.

As well as this, the Hammers signed Palmeiras midfielder Luis Guilherme for around £20 million this summer and the East London club are closing in on two more signings this summer.

West Ham close in on Guido Rodriguez deal

HITC understands that agreements are in place for Guido Rodriguez and Niclas Fullkrug to join West Ham this summer and both players are due in London for medicals on Saturday.

HITC reported on Friday that West Ham had made their move for Rodriguez who is available on a free transfer after departing La Liga side Real Betis.

Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce had been hoping to land the 30-year-old, who had seen a move to Barcelona collapse, but he has now agreed a deal to move to the Premier League.

Rodriguez made 24 La Liga appearances for Betis last season with the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA) praising Rodriguez’s attributes, writing: “Exceptional on the defensive end, his superb reading of the play, positional sense and judgement ensures he cuts out many an attack to regain possession for his team.”

A deal for Rodriguez isn’t the only signing the Hammers are understood to be closing in on.

Niclas Fulkrug also set to join West Ham after agreement struck

Rodriguez is set to be joined at West Ham by German star Fullkrug – who has agreed a three-year deal with the Hammers this summer.

HITC revealed that West Ham have been in talks with Borussia Dortmund for much of this week after they walked away from talks with Aston Villa over Jhon Duran. HITC understands that the overall deal for Fulkrug is €30 million (£25 million).

West Ham had been hoping that a third player, Aaron Wan-Bissaka – would also be having a medical with personal terms in place but as it stands a deal with Manchester United is not yet in place but talks are continuing.

However, a third signing is on the verge of being announced with HITC understanding that Crysencio Summerville has had his medical with West Ham with everything done and dusted for the English winger.
