Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday, where Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will come up against the Gunners.
If the £12m man is fit for the London derby, it will be the first time he faces Arsenal since Mikel Arteta forced him out of the Emirates Stadium following that disciplinary breach in January.
Aubameyang was stripped of the captaincy, and saw his contract terminated before joining Barcelona on a free transfer in January, but the Gabon international has now sent a warning to those in north London.
Aubameyang warns Arsenal ahead of Chelsea clash
Well, in a promotional video for BT Sport ahead of the game, Aubameyang was filmed saying: “Arsenal, nothing personal. I’m back, I’m blue, I’m ready. Let’s go.”
It was a bold thing to agree to ahead of such a significant game, and Gabriel Agbonlahor couldn’t believe the 33-year-old went ahead with it.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the Aston Villa icon said: “I am surprised and I reckon BT Sport will have been buzzing to get him to say those words because it adds more spice to the game and more viewers, of course.
“It’s very strange, I think. You don’t need to do that. I’d never have done that. These things seem to work against you. I think it’s a silly thing to do and he could regret that.”
We agree – it could easily backfire for Aubameyang on Sunday.
Arsenal will use Chelsea man’s comments
As seen in Amazon’s All or Nothing series, Arteta likes to use things like this to motivate his players.

For example, the Spaniard stuck a tweet from Ivan Toney on the dressing room wall which read “nice kick about with the boys” ahead of a game with Brentford at the Emirates Stadium, which the striker posted after the Bees beat Arsenal 2-0 at the start of last season.
Therefore, you can be sure that Arteta will encourage his players to make Aubameyang eat his words.
