Moments after Fabrizio Romano reported that Leeds had ‘completed’ a deal to sign Tyler Adams, the US Men’s National Team dropped a massive hint on their official Twitter account – suggesting a deal is done.
Adams, 23, is on the verge of completing a move to Elland Road after Leeds sold Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City. The England star has put pen to paper on a six-year deal at the Etihad, and Leeds are responding quickly.

Reports state that Leeds want to complete deals for Adams and Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra before the weekend. Leeds jet off to Australia for their pre-season tour soon, and two deals could be done beforehand.
It seems like Adams will be one. Romano reported ‘here we go’ on Twitter on a deal worth £20million, as well as add-ons. Moments after Romano’s report, the USMNT’s official account posted a picture of Adams and Brenden Aaronson.

All fingers are pointing towards a deal that will see Adams join Leeds. Romano’s update is a big one and there could be confirmation of a move in the coming days. Adams will travel to Leeds soon to undergo a medical.
Now, the USMNT have all but posted confirmation of a deal. Only minutes after Romano’s update, they posted a picture of Adams alongside new Leeds man Aaronson and it is clear they are hinting a deal is done.
It is a brilliant signing for Leeds – not only because Adams is a top player with enormous potential. But because it sees them immediately ease concerns over the loss of Phillips, rather than let the Leeds fanbase grow concerned.
