90Min claim Leeds are intent on completing the £40million double deal of Luis Sinisterra and Tyler Adams before the weekend – after Kalvin Phillips left the club to join Manchester City on Monday morning.

Despite already spending the best part of £50million on Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca, things are beginning to heat up for Leeds in the transfer market. The sale of Phillips has given Leeds cash to spend.

Reports emerged on Monday that Leeds are closing in on the signing of Colombia international and Feyenoord winger Sinisterra. The attacker was marvelous during 2021-22, producing an enormous 37 goal involvements.

USA and Leipzig star Adams has been a long-term target this summer – and now, with Phillips gone, Leeds could get him in the coming weeks. 90Min report that a £25million deal for Sinisterra, and £15million move for Adams, is close.

Indeed, Leeds want to get the double £40million deal done before the weekend – meaning they have four days to complete both moves. Sinisterra missed training on Monday to conduct talks with Leeds over a move.

While losing Phillips and Raphinha is an enormous blow to Jesse Marsch’s side, the blow will be dramatically softened by replacing the duo instantly. Sinisterra would be an absolutely wonderful signing for Leeds.

His form, albeit in the Netherlands and the Europa Conference League – getting Feyenoord to the final – is stunning. To score and assist on such a regular basis almost makes him a bargain at £25million.

Adams is a top talent but id the victim of huge competition at Leipzig. Marsch knows him well after spells at Leipzig and New York Red Bulls. For £15million, he also seems very good value for money.
