Aston Villa defender, Tyrone Mings, has posted on his Instagram story ‘good luck fellas’, after being left out of England’s latest squad.
The Aston Villa captain also joked to his Wolves counterpart ‘someone give Conor Coady a kiss from me’, as the duo, who are now best mates, won’t link-up on the international stage next month.
For a number of years now, Mings has been part of Southgate’s squad, but the form of Fikayo Tomori and Marc Guehi means that he misses out.
It would have been hard to take for the hard-hitting Villa defender, with the 2022 World Cup in Qatar around the corner.
But, rather than sulk, Mings has posted this classy message on his Instagram story to his teammates.
“Good luck fellas,” said Mings. “Somone give Conor Coady a kiss from me.” added with a laughing emoji.

THE SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW COULD BE INTERESTING FOR MINGS’ FUTURE
Steven Gerrard has some big calls to make at Villa Park and it could result in Mings dropping out of the XI.
At this moment in time, he is a starter and the club captain – and he has done a fantastic job in Claret & Blue.
But, with Gerrard looking for a new centre-back, could Mings’ place be in threat at club level? If so, it will affect his chances of going to the World Cup.
The big tell-tale sign won’t just be the centre-back that is purchased this summer, but if Gerrard keeps Mings as his captain for next season.
