Ange Postecoglou has opened up about Tottenham Hotspur’s third signing of the summer with the club being busy in the transfer market.

Tottenham Hotspur completed the signing of Leeds United’s Archie Gray and also promising Swedish attacking midfielder Lucas Bergvall.

Gray has already impressed Tottenham fans following his pre-season appearance and it already looks as if the Englishman will be a rip-roaring success in North London.

Tottenham have now completed their third summer signing with Gangwon winger Yang Min-Hyuk moving to the club.

Last week, Postecoglou hinted that Yang Min-Hyuk’s transfer was close and now the deal has been confirmed.

Ange Postecoglou on ‘exciting’ Yang Min-Hyuk

Spurs’ remit in this summer transfer window appears to be going for young and exciting players who can grow with the team.

Destiny Udogie and Micky Van de Ven developed under the Australian and the hope will be that Bergvall, Gray, and Min-Hyuk can also thrive under his tutelage.

Speaking in a press conference, as preparations continue for Postecoglou’s second season in London, the Australian was asked about the signing of the South Korean teenager.

“We’re delighted to have him as part of the club, somebody who was identified by our scouting department,” Postecoglou said, as per Football.London.

“A young talented player and we’re looking always to not just for the present but for the future.

“He’s shown great promise and we’re looking forward to having him as part of the club once he’s finished his commitments with his club now.”

Postecoglou’s young and exciting Spurs team taking shape

As well as signing young and exciting players from outside the club, it appears that Tottenham will be looking to their academy for depth.

English pair Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear have made quite the impact in pre-season with Moore being labelled as the next Lamine Yamal following the 5-1 victory over Hearts.

In Moore, Lankshear, Gray and Bergvall, Spurs have a young, exciting quartet that is bound to excite Postecoglou.
