Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the club’s first pre-season game of the season against Hearts.
Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur finished in fifth place in the Premier League during the Australian’s debut season but the North London club played some of the best football in the division.
The Lilywhites have made some key summer additions already with the signing of Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray and promising Swedish international Lucas Bergvall, who joined after signing a pre-contract agreement earlier this year.
However, following the dominant victory over Scottish Premiership side Hearts, fans of the North London club were focusing on one promising academy product in particular.

Spurs fans react to Mikey Moore’s performance against Hearts
Spurs began their pre-season tour with a 5-1 victory over Hearts with academy graduate Mikey Moore excelling.
This looks to be a key few weeks for the talented midfielder as he may be able to force himself into the club’s first team plans under Postecoglou.
During the game against the Scottish side, Moore came on for the second half and excelled for the Lilywhites.
Moore scored once, provided one key pass, completed 100% of his dribbles and won 80% of his ground duels.
“You can keep Lamine Yamal, we have Mikey Moore,” one Tottenham fan wrote, whilst another claimed: “I do not know how you can watch him and think he isn’t a generational talent.”
Another made a rather bold prediction: “He has more potential than Foden.” A fourth Spurs fan claimed that he is the “best talent in the country.”
After Harry Kane had a rather poor tournament at Euro 2024, one Spurs fan has made an early prediction for the teenager: “Mikey Moore is the future starting striker for England.”
Latest on Mikey Moore’s future amid Real Madrid and PSG interest
The Lilywhites have had a knack over the years of bringing through some outstanding young talent and Moore looks to be the next name to add to that list.
Talent will attract attention with sources confirming to HITC that Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are interested in the Englishman.
However, Spurs are understood to be confident in holding onto their teenage star. There is a belief that staying put would be best for his career.
It’s hard to disagree with that statement as remaining under Postecoglou could be a very wise decision.
