And this is a potential masterstroke by Paratici because it means that the North Londoners may only have to pay possibly a quarter of it up front, saving money for additional deals this month.
Heaven knows that Tottenham’s spending cannot stop with Porro, given how much they need investment in other areas.
And thanks to Paratici, it looks like a chunk of the budget can be reserved for additional reinforcements, a move Levy himself would’ve done when he was controlling transfer-related matters at the club.
