The Tottenham transfer news is hotting up in a major way.
Nicolo Zaniolo is heavily linked and so too is Arnaut Danjuma.
According to Sky Sports on Tuesday, Danjuma has travelled to North London ahead of joining Tottenham on loan from Villarreal.
And the 25-year-old himself has dropped a major hint on Instagram.
Danjuma has now started following the Lilywhites on social media, with the club being one of the 76 accounts that he follows.
Indeed, the Tottenham transfer news is looking increasingly rosy.
But like Zaniolo, Danjuma is an attacking player and if there’s one area which has cost Antonio Conte’s side more points than anything, it’s defence.
The North Londoners’ defence is increasingly poor and that, not the attack, is what’ll cost them Champions League qualification if anything does.
Nevertheless, Tottenham have needed a plan-b option for Harry Kane for years.
Whether it’s Vincent Janssen, Fernando Llorente or Carlos Vinicius, nobody has worked out for the Lilywhites and it’ll be fascinating to see if the Netherlands international is an upgrade on them.
