Speculation is rife that Tottenham Hotspur are set to sign Arnaut Danjuma.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs have hijacked managerless Everton’s interest in the attacker.
The Villarreal forward is reported to have travelled to London on Tuesday for talks with Tottenham.
If this goes through, it’s an exciting transfer for a number of reasons.
But particularly because of his pace.
Simply put, the 25-year-old Netherlands international is an absolute bullet of a footballer and he could, in theory, make Antonio Conte’s side a lot more devastating in attack.

For context, Son Heung-min, who is likely Spurs’ quickest attacking outlet, is only marginally quicker, clocking a top speed of 34.30 kilometres per hour [Speedsdb.com].
Danjuma is predominantly a number nine [Transfermarkt] and although he won’t be playing ahead of Harry Kane very regularly, he can play on either wing too.
And the speed that he brings to this Tottenham side is likely to make them a lot more fearsome than they already are.
