Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United target Manor Solomon has his heart set on a move to the Premier League despite interest from Serie A, as reported by Israeli publication Sport5.

Shakhtar Donetsk might have been little more than a sideshow on Edin Dzeko’s stage as Inter Milan cruised to a well-deserved Champions League victory a fortnight ago but, at the San Siro, there were a few tantalising little glimpses of Solomon’s talent.

A clever shimmy here, a trademark turn of pace there.

A 22-year-old winger with two Ukrainian league titles in the bag appears to be the next in line for a big-money move away from Donetsk, following in the footsteps of Willian, Fred, Fernandinho and Douglas Costa.

Is Manor Solomon joining Arsenal or Tottenham?

Arsenal are reported to have submitted a £17 million bid over the summer, only for Shakhtar to block any departure.

Solomon is also rumoured to be a target for Antonio Conte’s Spurs, Rafael Benitez’s Everton and Eddie Howe’s nouveau-riche Newcastle United, via TEAMtalk.

What’s more, the quick-silver wideman did not rule out a move to north London or the north east when quizzed on interest from Tottenham and Newcastle recently.

“Anything can happen, you never know,” said Solomon, a tricky and twinkle-toed winger in the Eden Hazard mould.

“There are reports all the time. I’m used to it. Of course, in the last year, (the rumours) have gotten stronger since my appearances in the Champions League.

“Chances are I’ll stay (at Shakhtar beyond the winter window). (But) I do want to go to those places and I really hope it happens in the coming year.”

Serie A outfit Sassuolo have reportedly identified Solomon as a potential replacement for the wantaway Jeremy Boga.

It is understood, however, that the Israel international has told his agent that he is holding out for a Premier League offer.

Furthermore, he plans to turn down a move to Italy even if Sassuolo reach an agreement with Shakhtar.
