Tottenham target another signing with club preparing £27 million bid for Brazilian ace

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing an offer for their right-back target this summer according to reports.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have been busy in the summer transfer window with Tottenham Hotspur spending over £100 million on the signing of Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray and Dominic Solanke to help the Lilywhites battle to get back into the UEFA Champions League.

Spurs signing Gray could be one of the signings of the summer and it appears that the North London club aren’t done there.

Emerson Royal departed Spurs for AC Milan and the Lilywhites are seemingly looking for a replacement this summer and have landed on another Brazilian.

Spurs preparing offer for Vanderson

Tottenham are preparing an offer for Monaco full-back Vanderson over a deal worth at least €32 million (£25 million) plus additional money for objectives.

That’s according to journalist Bruno Andrade, who reports that talks with Monaco are ‘ongoing’ over the Brazilian.

Spurs were linked to Vanderson earlier this week and it now appears the North London club are ready to turn that interest into an offer.

A right back would not appear to be a priority given they have Pedro Porro and Djed Spence in the squad already after allowing Royal to leave for AC Milan.

According to his information, they are discussing a €32m plus bonuses deal with the Ligue 1 for the 23-year-old Brazilian. That offer has not been formally submitted yet but is being prepared.

The Brazilian has previously been linked with Manchester United but it appears a move to Postecoglou’s side could well be on the cards this summer.

Spurs’ search for a right-back

HITC understands that Tottenham have assessed several right-back options this summer as a replacement for Royal.

Fiorentina’s Joshua Kayode, Manchester City’s Issa Kabore and Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters are all on the radar just in case Tottenham don’t decide to move forward with Spence as Porro’s competition.

Investing £25 million into Vanderson, who could well be a backup for Porro or even Spence, would be a strange decision from Postecoglou if they do push for a deal and this could be a transfer that excels in the coming days.
