Manchester United have joined the race to sign Monaco star Vanderson with Tottenham Hotspur’s interest potentially gone.
That’s according to RMC Sport, who claim that United are showing a real interest in Vanderson.
Erik ten Hag seemingly wants another right back this summer despite the performances of Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong has been heavily linked but Monaco ace Vanderson is now another option.
It’s stated that United are ‘ready’ to make their move for Vanderson if Monaco show a willingness to sell this summer.
The Brazilian joined Monaco from Gremio in January 2022, penning a deal until the summer of 2027.
Vanderson has impressed in Ligue 1 this season, notching one goal and three assists in 26 Ligue 1 games.
That has now sparked interest from United – and it’s now hard to see Tottenham making a move.

Tottenham have been linked with Vanderson
Vanderson may be a name that rings a bell for Tottenham fans.
Football London reported in December that Fabio Paratici wanted to bring Vanderson to Spurs.
That certainly made sense at the time but a move to North London now sounds very unlikely.
Firstly, Paratici isn’t even at Spurs anymore; the Italian was given a worldwide ban by FIFA and has left his post as Tottenham’s director of football.
Additionally, Tottenham signed a right wing back in January as Pedro Porro arrived from Sporting.
A permanent deal for the Spaniard is set to go through this summer and Spurs surely won’t need another right wing back this summer.
That means a deal for Vanderson to join Spurs seems highly unlikely and may just leave United as hot favourites for his signature.
