Tottenham Hotspur could wave goodbye to one first-team player after a last-minute bid arrived on their doorstep.
Tottenham have welcomed five new signings to the club this summer, including a club-record £65m deal for Dominic Solanke.
Ange Postecoglou has admitted that he is happy with the club’s business, and Spurs have now turned their attention to thinning their squad in the final hours of the transfer window.
Two players that could leave North London on deadline day are Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon, with Postecoglou deeming the duo excess to requirements.
Aston Villa and La Liga side Real Betis are keen on Lo Celso and Tottenham are open to selling him as they do not want to lose him as a free agent next summer.

Tottenham receive deadline day bid for Giovani Lo Celso
Tottenham could be in for a busy end to deadline day as Reguilon and Lo Celso close in on an exit.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, Tottenham have received a £5m bid from Real Betis for Lo Celso.
Spurs are set to make a huge loss on the Argentine midfielder after spending £27m to sign him in 2020.
The report states that Real Betis have already agreed personal terms with Lo Celso, with a final fee the only hurdle stopping him from leaving to join the Spanish side.
Tottenham are yet to respond to the offer.
Tottenham need to cut their losses on Giovani Lo Celso
Lo Celso has fallen out of Postecoglou’s plans at Spurs and their best option is to sell the 28-year-old before Friday’s deadline.

Aston Villa remain interested but are only interested in signing Lo Celso on a free transfer so Tottenham’s best chance of recouping any money for him is to accept Betis’ offer.
With James Maddison back fit and Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall arriving to strengthen the midfield, Spurs are well-equipped to handle Lo Celso’s departure.
