Tottenham Hotspur could launch a double raid for Stuttgart stars Borna Sosa and Sasa Kalajdzic – and the pair have combined for a dramatic goal.
The summer transfer window is starting to come into view as we approach the end of the season.
Stuttgart appear to have a couple of players on the Tottenham wish list with Fabio Paratici targeting signings.
Bild claim that Tottenham fancy signing Stuttgart left back Borna Sosa, challenging Arsenal for the Croatian’s signature.
Likened to David Beckham thanks to his ability from set pieces, Sosa would give Antonio Conte a quality left wing back and a real attacking threat.
Kicker then reported last week that Tottenham are keen on Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic, seemingly eyeing the Austrian as competition for Harry Kane.
A gangly striker at 6ft 7in tall, Kalajdzic is a huge aerial threat and has impressed since returning from a major injury.
Over the weekend, Stuttgart faced a key game in their battle against relegation as they hosted Borussia Monchengladbach.
Trailing 2-0 in the first half, Stuttgart roared back as Wataru Endo and Chris Fuhrich found the net for the hosts.
Inside the final 10 minutes, the big moment came. Sosa made a burst down the left flank and picked out Kalajdzic, who took one touch and fired in the winner.
The Bundesliga’s English Twitter account have posted the goal, praising ‘that speed’ from Sosa before Kalajdzic provided the finish.
That result could spark Stuttgart’s run to survival, and is the seventh time Sosa and Kalajdzic have combined for a goal at Stuttgart.
Sosa’s crossing and Kalajdzic’s penalty box instincts made them an ideal combination – one that Stuttgart will hope to see thrive in the coming weeks.
Yet in the long-term we could see that same duo join forces at Tottenham, with the prospect of signing both players surely appealing to Paratici.
