According to Kicker, West Ham and Tottenham are interested in bringing VfB Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic to the Premier League.
What’s the story?
Well, the German news outlet believe West Ham and Tottenham are fighting to sign the 24-year-old, who is set to leave VfB Stuttgart.
Kicker state that Kalajdzic finds himself out of contract with the Bundesliga side in June 2023, so he is likely to be sold this summer.
It is also said that Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Roma are keen to sign the Austrian.
VfB Stuttgart value Kalajdzic at €20m (£17m), although they may have to accept less than that due to his contract situation.
Interestingly, Kicker claim that the West Ham and Tottenham target was close to a move in 2021, before a shoulder injury ruined his chances.
So far this season, the Wien-born frontman has scored just one goal in six Bundesliga appearances
West Ham and Tottenham could have the next Peter Crouch

If you haven’t heard much about Kalajdzic, then a comparison to a better known player may be of interest.
In regards to the Austria international, he has been compared to Peter Crouch by the Bundesliga, which is high praise indeed.
The Bundesliga feel the two are similar as they both tower over defenders, but also have excellent footwork despite their height.

Kalajdzic – who stands at 6ft 6in – has also been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Crouch and Ibrahimovic certainly aren’t bad strikers to be compared with, to say the least.
Keep an eye on this saga, as Kalajdzic could end up at West Ham or Tottenham as soon as this summer.
