Tottenham want Filip Kostic and are now ready to make a £25million bid having scouted the Eintracht Frankfurt star against Rangers on Wednesday.

Tottenham are potentially just 90 minutes away from Champions League qualification.

Avoid a slip-up against Norwich City today and Tottenham are there, dragging themselves into the top four under Antonio Conte.

Tottenham will be keen to add major signings to bolster Conte’s squad and another left wing back could be vital.

Ryan Sessegnon is enjoying his best run of form as a Tottenham player but Sergio Reguilon’s future looks unclear.

If Reguilon leaves, Tottenham will need another left wing back and Kostic could be their man.

Tottenham want Filip Kostic

Tottenham have been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt star Kostic of late.

The Independent reported in April that Tottenham were looking towards Kostic as a potential summer signing.

The Express now claim that Tottenham actually scouted Kostic in action for Frankfurt against Rangers on Wednesday.

Kostic played a key role in helping Frankfurt win the Europa League final, assisting Rafael Borre’s equaliser before scoring his penalty in the shootout.

It’s now claimed that Tottenham are ready to firm up their interest with a move worth around £25million.

Kostic only has one year left on his Frankfurt contract and Tottenham may sense a chance to snap him up this summer.

Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner believes that Kostic is staying though, suggesting they had an on-pitch chat after beating Rangers.

Glasner feels that Kostic’s story at Frankfurt isn’t over, believing that a summer move won’t happen.

Tottenham will now hope to change that by making their move for the Serbian who has excelled this season.

Kostic, 29, has bagged 15 assists in a superb season down the left flank for Frankfurt.

Kostic has even been compared to former Tottenham hero Gareth Bale having impressed with his pace and driving runs.

Kostic may not be a long-term option for Tottenham given his age but his attacking output may make him perfect for Conte.
