Tottenham Hotspur are now expected to listen to offers for left back Sergio Reguilon this summer as Antonio Conte looks to reshape his squad.

That’s according to a report from the London Evening Standard.

It’s stated that Reguilon is one of a number of players who could be offloaded to help Tottenham kick on under Conte.

Davinson Sanchez, Joe Rodon and Emerson Royal are named as potential sales, which maybe isn’t a huge surprise.

Yet with Reguilon, some may be shocked that he is becoming so readily available having shown moments of his quality with Tottenham.

Tottenham paid £27million to sign Reguilon in 2020 as Jose Mourinho pounced to sign him from Real Madrid.

That deal included a £34million buy-back clause and reports from The Mirror in February suggested that Real were considering activating that.

A decision was expected before March but there has been little reported since then.

That would maybe suggest that Real aren’t going to re-sign Reguilon but you can’t count them out.

Competition will be needed for Ferland Mendy and Reguilon could be their man.

Tottenham at least seem open to selling Reguilon and that means Real may be able to negotiate down from that release clause.

Reguilon has recorded two goals and nine assists in 67 games for Tottenham but has never quite fulfilled his potential.

The 25-year-old may even be slipping behind Ryan Sessegnon in the Tottenham pecking order with Conte seemingly preferring the English talent.

Conte has called for Reguilon to improve but the Spanish international now looks set to miss the rest of the season through injury.

That means Reguilon may be out of chances to impress Conte and save his Tottenham future.

If Tottenham can sell Reguilon and bring in another left wing back, it looks like Tottenham will take that chance.
