After getting left on read by Norway and Manchester City star Erling Haaland, Tom Holland will finally get to have dinner with the internet’s new favourite sensation.
Holland revealed that he had messaged Haaland on Instagram at the Monaco Grand Prix to grab dinner together, but the striker never responded.
In recent weeks, the clip went viral, with Haaland offering to meet Holland for a meal soon. Since then, the question on many people’s minds has been just one word – when?

At the premiere of his upcoming movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, a reporter from Complex asked Tom Holland whether he had met Erling Haaland for dinner since the Manchester City star’s offer.
Holland confirmed that he hadn’t gotten the opportunity yet, but that he and Haaland would get together for a meal very soon.
“No. But I will! Soon!”
Holland has presumably been very busy over the last few weeks, going on press tours to promote both The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Once the media frenzy dies down and the British star has some free time on his hands, he is likely to meet up with the Premier League standout.
Tom Holland’s football fandom goes back a long way
Holland has made his love for football no secret, as he has stated multiple times that he grew up a fan of Tottenham Hotspur, and still supports the team to this day.
During his 2021 press tour to promote Spider-Man: No Way Home, Holland met up with then-Spurs superstar Son Heung-min.
On top of that, he attended the 2021 Ballon D’Or ceremony, where he met Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
His interactions with Messi didn’t end there, as he enlisted the Inter Miami icon’s services for a commercial to promote Spider-Man: Brand New Day recently.
Of course, given Holland’s Spurs fandom, Haaland may have some jokes to make at his team’s expense during the dinner.
