Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to Harry Kane’s comments on the club’s new board member, Fabio Paratici.
There has been a lot of talk this summer regarding Kane’s future and whether the Manchester City-linked hitman will leave Spurs.
Tottenham’s new managing director, Paratici, has claimed that he cannot wait to see Kane in action for the club next season and he is determined to keep him on board, as he told Sky Italia.
Kane responded to those comments on talkSPORT and claimed that he feels ‘loved’ at the club and ‘to get praise from big people from football is great, it gives you confidence’.
The Spurs faithful have taken Kane’s comments in a positive light and they are hoping that it means that he stays put.
It will be interesting to see what actions, if any, Kane takes when he returns to domestic action after Euro 2020 and his break.
Nuno Espirito Santo is in the dugout, and whilst he wasn’t a crowd-pleasing appointment, the former Wolves boss has seemingly been promised that Kane will stay put.
Those returning to stadiums next season will be hoping that it will all add up in their star man staying because it’s not going to be a pleasant sight without him.
But one way for the club to showcase that ambition towards Kane is by Paratici and Co. doing the business in the transfer market.
This Spurs side needs refreshing, and maintaining large parts of the squad will result in the same decline that has been showcased during the past few years.
