Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, Duncan Castles has claimed that Manchester City have already made an offer for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
It’s no secret that Kane is keen to get out of Tottenham this summer, and Manchester City have now reportedly made their move to land the England captain.
What’s been said?
Castles was analysing the job the lies ahead of Fabio Paratici once he arrives as the new Director of Football at Spurs, before dropping the bombshell that City have already made an offer for Kane.
“I think he’s got a lot of work to do in the transfer market and there are some big decisions to be made there, notably over Harry Kane who wants to leave. He’s publicly state he wants to leave. He’s wanted by Manchester United, as reported a couple of weeks ago they have already started working on a contract and with Kane and ways they can assist him should he be forced to request a transfer. He’s also wanted by Manchester City, my understanding is that there’s already been an offer put in by Manchester City for Kane,” Castles said.

Is this the end?
Manchester City have made their move for Kane, and we have to wonder if this now spells the end of his Tottenham career.
City certainly have the money to get Kane out of north London, it’s just a matter of whether or not they’re willing to spend it.
We don’t know how much this opening offer is for, but one thing is for sure, it will cost a lot of money to convince Daniel Levy to part ways with his prized asset.
