English soccer fan Oliver Henry has had quite the experience in the United States of America this summer.

The Three Lions’ actual World Cup campaign ended in disappointment, losing in the semi-finals to Argentina.

But Henry seems to have had a great time in the USA, and has now received a parcel from the White House, though he doesn’t know what it is yet.

White House sends gift to fan who came to USA for World Cup

After travelling to watch England in World Cup action this summer, the soccer fan was invited to meet Donald Trump.

He then secured himself a tour of the West Wing of the White House, where he was gifted some ‘Presidential sweets’.

Despite England’s proper tournament coming to an end earlier this week, Henry is still in America.

He has recently spent time in Atlanta and Tennessee, but his extended stay means he is currently unable to find out what gift he has received from the White House, which is waiting for him back home in the UK.

Taking to X/Twitter, he explained: “Apparently a parcel from the White House is waiting for me at home… A family member went to check on my house and told me.”

In the replies to the tweet, someone speculated that it is ‘Probably a signed photo of you and Trump together at the 250 fair.’

To which Henry responded: “That would be pretty cool.”
