Thousands of fans from around the globe have flocked to the US to watch their teams in action during the 2026 World Cup.

While the USA’s reputation among the rest of the world may not have been amazing prior to the tournament, many soccer supporters seem to have been enjoying themselves in America this summer.

One such fan is Oliver Henry, who is following England in North America and has now revealed he was recently invited to tour the West Wing of the White House.

England soccer fan given ‘presidential sweets’ after West Wing of the White House tour

Taking to his Instagram page, Henry expressed his gratitude for the opportunities he has been given since making the trip to North America.

In the caption of the post, he wrote: “What an incredible honour to be invited to tour the West Wing of the White House. I cannot understate how incredibly honoured I am for every opportunity I have been presented with since landing in America one month ago. The journey continues as I am back in Texas to explore small towns in America outside of the big cities!”

Meanwhile, in the video itself, Henry explained that while taking the tour, he was ‘given presidential sweets’ and a T-shirt from the White House gym.

He said: “I was invited for a tour of the West Wing of the White House, and I was given presidential sweets.

“These are Kisses, and I’ve also got presidential M&M’s, which are all red, white and blue. I’ve never had a Kiss before, but these are all star wrapped, and I’m excited to try it.”

Henry has already opened up on his ‘surreal experience’ in the USA during the World Cup, which has included him renting a pickup truck and listening to country music.

The viral influencer also had the chance to meet President Donald Trump and take a photo with him.

Elsewhere, another English fan was left in awe of US stadiums during the tournament, admitting ‘we owe apologies to America’.

And with Thomas Tuchel’s side still going strong at the tournament, there should be plenty more chances for Three Lions fans to enjoy even more amazing experiences while in the USA.
