Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing reported Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Takehiro Tomiyasu, according to Sky Sports.
What’s the story?
Sky Sports have reported that Wolves have inquired about signing Tomiyasu from Bologna in the summer transfer window.
The Wanderers have also asked about Fiorentina central defender Nikola Milenkovic, another player on the radar of Spurs.
Tottenham want Tomiyasu, and it is Spurs where the Japan international central defender prefers to move to, according to the report, which has added that the youngster is valued at £17 million.
Cuorirosso Blu reported this month that Arsenal are also showing interest in the 22-year-old Japan international, who can operate as a left-back as well.
Arsenal are well stocked in central defence, but the Gunners could do with a right-back to compete with Hector Bellerin or perhaps even replace him.

No Wolves transfer?
Sky Sports are not the first source to claim that Tomiyasu wants to join Tottenham.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano said on Matt Hayes’s YouTube channel last month that the youngster’s “dream” is to join Spurs.

Clearly, Tomiyasu is keen on a transfer to Spurs.
However, it is not in the hands of the Japanese defender.
Tottenham and Bologna have to agree on a deal.
Wolves should monitor what happens in the coming days and weeks and should be ready to pounce if Spurs and Bologna cannot reach an agreement.
