According to Football London, Hector Bellerin’s agent is going to have a direct meeting with Arsenal chief Edu about leaving the club.
The Spaniard has been linked with a move away from the Emirates for quite some time now, and recently, Inter Milan have emerged as a possible destination for the Spaniard.
Sadly, Arsenal haven’t been able to find a buyer for Bellerin as of yet, and his agent is going to speak with the Gunners’ Director of Football about the situation.
Arsenal, understandably, want a decent fee for the right-back. After all, Mikel Arteta once hailed him as ‘great’, and while the possibility of a loan move has been floated, the Gunners would want an obligation to buy included in that, making it quite a commitment for any interested party.
The reality is that Bellerin hasn’t been in the past of form over the past 12 months, and while Arsenal want good money for him, it’s going to be hard to convince any club that he’s worth shelling out for.
However, Bellerin’s agent is seemingly on the case, gearing up for a meeting with Edu, and while we can’t be a fly on the wall in this meeting, it will be interesting to see whether or not things begin to speed up after Edu and Bellerin’s agent have a discussion.
