Real Madrid fans have reacted on Twitter to the rumours surrounding Arsenal and Martin Odegaard.
Less than three weeks remain until the transfer window slams shut and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Arsenal are still looking for that creative player on deadline day.
James Maddison is a player that constantly gets mentioned to move to the Emirates, as does a familiar face in Odegaard.
There have been suggestions that Odegaard has doubts over his future at Madrid and Arsenal want to go back in for the player – he spent the second half of last season on loan in North London.
Odegaard didn’t set the world alight during his time in the Premier League but he did enough to impress the Arsenal fans.
But following these claims about Odegaard, Real Madrid supporters have offered a mixed reaction.
Given that Dani Cabellos is facing a spell on the sidelines, Carlo Ancelotti may have to keep Odegaard on board if the former wonderkid is heading for the exit door.
If that happens then that’s another possible name Mikel Arteta won’t be able to snap up for next season.
Either way, it might just prove to be a win-win situation for Madrid because if he stays then they have a quality player on board.
If he leaves on a permanent basis then they should be able to attract a big fee and if he leaves on loan then they are only building up his reputation even further.
