Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to claims that Mauricio Pochettino will ask Harry Kane to stay if he returns to the club.
During this past week, the managerial rumour mill at Tottenham has taken some surprising twists and turns.
Not many have expected it, but rumours are now circulating far and wide that Pochettino could be donning Tottenham colours once again.
If the unthinkable does happen and Pochettino does leave Paris Saint-Germain for Spurs then there will be one obvious topic on his mind – Harry Kane.
The Sun report that Pochettino will ask the Premier League’s top goalscorer to give him at least one more season in North London.
And those reports have sparked a mixed reaction from the Spurs supporters, who cannot see either scenario occurring.
Sky Sports have recently reported that Kane has, once again, expressed a desire to leave the club as he bids to win trophies.
Given that Spurs are in the Europa Conference League, and they have declined for around three years now, it doesn’t help the cause of Daniel Levy to keep Kane on board.
