Olivier Giroud wants Leeds United transfer target and Chelsea forward, Hakim Ziyech, at AC Milan, according to Michael Bridge on Sky Sports News.
The Sky reporter added that Giroud has told the AC Milan forward ‘please bring him in’, with Leeds also battling the Serie A champion for the Chelsea 29-year-old.
With Raphinha heading for the Elland Road exit door, those in Yorkshire will need a suitable replacement to replace their star man.
Could Leeds land Ziyech after surviving relegation to the Championship last season, then would he wants to swap West London for Yorkshire?
Well, it would be some statement if Leeds were able to sign the £30 million Morocco international, as Bridge shared the latest on Ziyech’s future.
“Hakim Ziyech in talks with AC Milan, according to our colleagues in Italy,” said Bridge. “There is no talk yet whether this is a loan or permanent.
“We think it’s a permanent deal. He has had a couple of years at Chelsea, after moving from Ajax for around £30 million.
“What we do know is that, Olivier Giroud, a former Chelsea striker, has apparently told the board at AC Milan ‘please bring him in. He would be fantastic for us’, so he might get his way.”

Will Raphinha be donning Chelsea colours next season or will he make a possible dream move to Barcelona?
Well, if he ends up signing for Chelsea, then that reduces Ziyech’s chances of game time, which is limited anyway, so he will need to leave.

Either way, Leeds are set to lose such a vital figure from their dressing room and that at the wrong time for Jesse Marsch after they survived relegation by the skin of their teeth last term.
