Clinton Morrison has said on Sky Sports News (12:32pm, February 11, 2023) that Mauricio Pochettino wants to take charge of Tottenham Hotspur and not Leeds United.
The former Crystal Palace forward does not think that Pochettino will take the Leeds managerial job now.
The Sky Sports pundit believes that the former Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham boss is waiting for a bigger club than Leeds.
Morrison has suggested that the 50-year-old Argentine is eyeing a return to Tottenham.
The pundit has noted how it is not clear if Antonio Conte will sign a new contract with Spurs and extend his stay at the North London club beyond the end of the season.
Leeds are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Jesse Marsch earlier this week.
The American was relieved of his duties at Leeds following a run of poor results.
The West Yorkshire club are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Diario La Nación journalist Claudio Mauri has claimed on Twitter that Leeds have made an offer to Pochettino.

The former Southampton and Espanyol manager has reportedly turned it down.
TMW reported on January 23, 2023 that Tottenham are in ‘direct talks’ over a possible return Pochettino at the end of the season.
The Italian news outlet claimed that if Conte decided to leave Tottenham in the summer of 2023, then the North London club would like to bring the Argentine back.
The Sun’s Martin Lipton suggested on Off The Ball in January 2023 that if Conte let Spurs, then Pochettino would be invited back to the club to replace the Italian boss.

Morrison said: “They are not forgetting him at Tottenham. He is probably watching the situation at Tottenham come the end of the season and see if Conte is still in charge.
“Because if he is not in charge, then Pochettino will be back at Tottenham.”
The pundit added: “Do I think Pochettino will take it at the moment? I don’t think he will take it. I think he is waiting for another big job.”
