He said, “The first thing I wanted to do was relieve my parents of their jobs. I (spent) a million dollars in about 45 minutes, but it was well worth it.”

For O’Neal, the value of that decision had nothing to do with balance sheets. It was about peace of mind and giving back as quickly as possible.
