As Everton ready themselves to face Leeds United, Sean Dyche has said that he is ready to do all the research possible about Dominic Calvert-Lewin, from his injury record to his lifestyle habits to ensure he stays fit on a long-term basis.
The ‘complete’ £100,00-a-week striker is synonymous with injury woes, missing a staggering 24 games in all competitions since last season.
In order to solve his constant injury problems, Sean Dyche has vowed to study everything he can about Dominic Calvert-Lewin and his fitness issues ahead of his side’s clash against Leeds, even including his lifestyle habits.
Dyche says he will explore lifestyle habits amidst other facets about Calvert-Lewin to solve injury problems ahead of Leeds clash
The 51-year-old, who Jamie Carragher said would have been a brilliant appointment as Whites boss now will conduct his research to ensure his main man up top stays fit and firing.
In his latest press conference ahead of Everton’s clash against Leeds in which Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been deemed unavailable, Sean Dyche told Liverpool Echo, “I’m speaking to Dominic, speaking to the medics, the sports science team, getting the stats and facts, training programmes, distance covered, high speed running, how many kilometres in a week, what’s his diet like, what’s his lifestyle like, what car does he drive, what mattress does he use, how many hours does he sleep at night.”

He continued, “That’s learning about people but the biggest thing is what’s in here [points to his head], that’s the hard part. “I can’t do it all one on one, we have groups with lots of skilled specialists and get all the information I can and share it with him and ask ‘how are you feeling?’”
What one can say is that if Sean Dyche does find areas to fix about the lifestyle choices that Dominic Calvert-Lewin perhaps makes amidst other factors, he could have one of the most deadliest goalscorers at his disposal available for games such as against Leeds.
