Burnley manager Sean Dyche comments on Everton winger Aaron Lennon.

Everton manager Sam Allardyce has insisted that he will look to trim the squad in the January transfer window.
One of the players who could leave Goodison Park in January is Aaron Lennon, who is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.
According to reports from the Mirror (live blog; 19/01/2018 – 16:51 pm), Burnley are closing in on a deal for the Everton winger, and the Clarets are looking to sign him for a nominal fee.

The 30-year-old, who has a reported £55k-per-week wages contract at Goodison Park, fears that he could drop down the pecking order at the club following the arrival of Theo Walcott from Arsenal.

When Dyche was asked to comment on the ongoing transfer speculation surrounding the 21-capped England international, he said the deal is a possibility.
“He’s a possibility, there’s a few players we’ve been linked with, and a few we’re interested in, so we’ll have to wait and see,” said Dyche, as quoted by Sky Sports (live transfer blog; 20/01/2018 – 20:29 pm).
Lennon is a pacy and experienced winger and would be a good addition to the squad.
