Gary Neville has praised reported Arsenal target and Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves on Sky Sports Premier League (7:29pm, March 18, 2022).
The former Manchester United defender believes that Neves, linked with a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window, is a sensational player.
Neville made the comments about the 25-year-old Portugal international midfielder in the build-up to the Premier League game between Leeds United and Wolves on Friday night.
Neves suffered an injury in the first half.
The London Evening Standard reported this month that Neves is a long-term target of Arsenal
The Sun claimed in February that Arsenal are keen to sign the Portugal international midfielder in the summer transfer window.
The report added that Wolves value Neves at £45 million.
Neville said about Neves on Sky Sports Premier League (7:29pm, March 18, 2022): “He is a top, top player. He had that little bit of a bad period under Nuno where he was sort of in and out of the team, but him and Moutinho have been sensational.”

Ruben Neves would make Arsenal better
In our opinion, Neves would make Arsenal a better and stronger team in the middle of the park.
The Portuguese star can do everything in midfield and would be a great partner for Thomas Partey at Arsenal.
Neves can score goals, push the team forward, hold his own in the middle of the park, and protect the back-line.
The Wolves no. 8 has scored 15 goals in 137 Premier League appearances so far in his career.
