Fabrizio Romano has revealed Liverpool are set to announce Darwin Nunez today.
It was reported on Sunday by The Times that the 22-year-old was due to undergo a Monday medical with Liverpool ahead of an £85 million transfer to Anfield.
However, it would appear as if medical examinations have already taken place.

That’s because the reliable Italian journalist has revealed on Twitter that the Reds will announce their capture in the ‘coming hours’.
Liverpool supporters will be ecstatic.
The summer transfer window is only officially open a couple days and Jurgen Klopp is already set to complete a massive signing.
This will wind up being the Reds’ biggest transfer fee of all time, surpassing the £75 million paid out for Virgil van Dijk four-and-a-half years ago.
The total package is costing Liverpool around £85 million for the Uruguay international.
But it’s been reported that only around three-quarters of this figure will be paid up front, with the rest coming in add-ons.
The South American is set to be earning around £120,000 per week on Merseyside, £20,000 more than Sadio Mane – the man he’s set to replace in Klopp’s squad.
