The Times are reporting this afternoon that Benfica striker Darwin Nunez will undergo a medical at Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool tomorrow.

The report, written by well-known and well-respected journalist Paul Joyce, has claimed that Liverpool expect to finalise a deal with Benfica for Nunez today.
The 22-year-old Uruguay international striker will undergo a medical tomorrow, according to the report published at 1pm today.
Liverpool will pay an initial transfer fee of £64 million to Benfica for Nunez, with ’a further £12.8 million potentially linked to appearances and £8.5 million based on the forward performing in a successful team’, according to The Times.
Darwin Nunez to Liverpool is happening
In our view, it is only a matter of time before Liverpool complete the signing of Darwin Nunez from Benfica.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Nunez has agreed personal terms with Liverpool.
All the signs are that the 22-year-old Uruguay international striker will end up becomng a Liverpool player before long.
Nunez scored 26 goals and gave four assists in 24 Portuguese league starts and scored six goals in six Champions League starts for Benfica this past season.
