Arsenal have picked up three wins in a row at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Mikel Arteta the mastermind behind it all.
Ange Postecoglou has been in the dugout and suffered two of those defeats, including Arsenal’s recent 1-0 win in the north London derby.
Last season, Tottenham finished 23 points behind Arsenal and the new Premier League season suggests that the same could happen again.
Arsenal are already four points ahead of their neighbours, this is after playing Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester City away.
It needs to be noted that the two London clubs are in two completely head spaces, in regards to where the managers are in their building process.
Postecoglou only joined Tottenham last season, and in an instant, he was hit with a body blow because Harry Kane left and joined Bayern Munich.
Whereas, his rival across the road, has been in charge since 2019 and has had many bumps in the road, but the powers that be at the Emirates have stuck by him.
Despite that, Chris Sutton stated that he would take Postecoglou over Arteta when the Arsenal boss was dubbed ‘the most versatile coach in the world’.
Arsenal scored 91 Premier League goals last season and they had the best defence (29 conceded). But this season, they have showcased their ‘Tony Pulis’ ways, hence the plaudits about Arteta’s versatility.
But when Robbie Savage heard about his fellow pundit taking ex-Celtic boss Postecoglou over Arteta, he was left shocked, as he told BBC 606.
Who is the better manager, Ange Postecoglou or Mikel Arteta?
“Arteta has been called ‘Tony Pulis’ for what has happened at Tottenham, against Atalanta in the Champions League and at Manchester City,” said the Arsenal fan. “I think, because of that, Arteta is the most versatile coach in the world, at the moment. Is there anyone you would take over Arteta (apart from Pep Guardiola)?”
Sutton added: “The way Spurs play football, Ange Postecoglou. The beautiful game.”
Savage responded: “Ange, come on? Chris, did you just say big Ange? Wow. We have to finish it there. Seriously, big Ange over Mikel Arteta.”

Can Tottenham close the gap on Arsenal?
Arsenal narrowly missed out on the Premier League title last season and many expect them to go again by taking Manchester City all the way.
What is a body blow for Pep Guardiola is a boost for Arteta because Rodri is expected to miss the rest of the season with an ACL injury.

That opens the door wide open for Arsenal to grab the title and become champions of England for the first time in two decades.
If that happens, then you expect the gap between Arsenal and Spurs to widen, unless, Postecoglou can pull something out of a hat because his team are also in the Europa League.
