Rio Ferdinand has said that Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford is better than Arsenal’s, Bukayo Saka currently on the FIVE YouTube channel.
Since the World Cup, the former has been in tremendous touch, and has a case for perhaps being the most in-form player in Europe. Whilst the latter has been sublime as well, earning plaudits from the likes of Gary Lineker, Jermain Defoe, Thierry Henry and Tony Adams, the Red Devils superstar has been on another level since the return of club football.
However, many would argue that Bukayo Saka has had a better season than Marcus Rashford as a whole, unless your name is Rio Ferdinand.

On the other hand, there are plenty that would also side with Rashford instead of the £70,000-a-week winger, considering he has scored a ridiculous 8 goals in his last 9 Premier League games.
However, Rio Ferdinand has given his thoughts on why Marcus Rashford has the edge over Bukayo Saka on his YouTube channel, saying, “Rashford is elite, he’s been elite! You [Joel Beya] said, right now. Rashford is elite. He’s one of the top in Europe in terms of goals, output. Saka, this ain’t no slant on him because he’s been ridiculous. I keep saying it, my [PFA] Young Player of the Year.”
When it was said to Ferdinand that the Arsenal forward should be in conversations to win PFA Player of The Year, Ferdinand replied, “I didn’t say he ain’t! But he’s winning Young Player of The Year. It’s a debate whether he gets it for the older player but he’s winning Young Player of the Year.”
Well, this Rashford-Saka debate is set to rage on until the end of the season but Rio Ferdinand certainly knows who he prefers at the minute.
