Gary Lineker has praised Arsenal duo, Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka for their excellent involvement in their side’s equaliser, despite eventually being held to a 1-1- draw against Brentford.
The former made a brilliant run in behind the Bees defence after getting on the end of a Martin Odegaard through ball, before putting in an inch-perfect delivery for Leandro Trossard, who made it 1-1. However, Ivan Toney equalised straight after, not letting the Gunners to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to 8 points after Man City lost to Tottenham last weekend.
When Arsenal did make it 1-0 against Brentford however, Gary Lineker had to give both Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka their credit.

Unfortunately for the pair, their brilliant goal meant nothing at the end of the day, as the hosts had to leave with just a mere point.
But Gary Lineker was all praises for Arsenal duo Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka for their involvement in the opener against Brentford, tweeting, “Huge goal for Arsenal scored by Leandro Trossard after customary excellence from Bukayo Saka.”
The Man City game has become a must-win for Arsenal
Despite the brilliance on show from both Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka, as pointed out by Gary Lineker, Arsenal succumbed to a 1-1 draw against Leicester.
What’s next? Only a clash of epic proportions against the mighty Man City, who are favourites entering into Sunday’s fixture against Aston Villa. Before today, even restricting the Premier League champions to a draw would have been acceptable.
Especially considering the much-awaited battle is at the Emirates Stadium, the pressure is on Mikel Arteta’s side to deliver, because even thought City are far from their best so far this season, there is not a better side you will find at assembling an incredible run together during the 2nd half of the season.
