West Ham will reportedly look to accelerate talks in the next few days in an attempt to sign Chelsea talent Armando Broja, who David Moyes is eager to bring to east London this summer.
According to the Evening Standard, the Irons will push hard in the next 72 hours to sign the Albanian international, with numerous Premier League clubs eyeing Broja following an impressive year out on loan with Southampton, another side who are reportedly keen on landing the youngster.
Whilst Chelsea do need a striker, it is believed that Thomas Tuchel is open to selling Broja this summer, with clubs such as West Ham able to land the 20-year-old Slough-born forward for just £30m, a potential bargain given the forward’s form last season and his age.
As you can expect, West Ham are now pushing hard to sign Broja, with Moyes keen to bring in a new striker this summer to both challenge Michail Antonio as well as potentially replace the Jamaican international for future seasons, with the Chelsea talent a perfect candidate for the role.
Tall, strong and hailed by Gary Neville as a ‘really exciting’ talent, Broja won many suitors and plaudits last season for his performances for Southampton, and whilst the Albanian didn’t bag as many goals as he would have liked, the 20-year-old will no doubt get better with age.
Broja signing is almost too perfect for West Ham this summer

Moyes has been incredible at West Ham when it comes to signings, amongst many other things, and the Scottish manager would be making another incredible move if the veteran Premier League coach was to land Broja this summer.
At 20, the forward is one of the most exciting young strikers in Europe, and with Chelsea open to a £30m sale, Broja would be a steal of a signing for West Ham, who have been looking for an attacker to compete with Antonio for what feels like forever.
