Liverpool and Chelsea target Jude Bellingham is now expected to be the subject of a €130m (£115m) bid from Real Madrid.

What’s the story?

Well, it was the Evening Standard who revealed that Chelsea want to sign the England international as Todd Boehly targets the best youngsters in Europe.

The Athletic claimed that Liverpool are also keen on bringing Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund to Anfield.

Now, it is Real Madrid who look set to make the first official move.

MARCA in Spain believe Los Blancos are now ready to submit an offer worth €30m (£27m) more than their €100m (£88m) signing of Aurelien Tchouameni, which would equate to a total bid of €130m (£115m).

Borussia Dortmund are believed to want £130m for Bellingham – however, Real Madrid hope that a series of additional payments will be enough to convince the German side to sell their No.22 this year.

MARCA add that Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have an excellent relationship, having previously negotiated deals for Achraf Hakimi and Reinier.

Liverpool risk losing out to Chelsea and Real Madrid

It is time for Liverpool to put some money on the table.

Talk of Real Madrid preparing a £115m bid for Bellingham comes after Chelsea told Benfica they are willing to pay the £105m release clause needed to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica – Gianluca Di Marzio claimed a deal was close.

According to Bola Na Rede, Liverpool also want to sign the Argentina international.

However, Jürgen Klopp’s side will have no chance of signing either Bellingham or Fernandez if they do not get their wallet out and start thinking about the financial details, like Real Madrid and Chelsea seem to be doing.

It would be a disaster for Liverpool to end up without either midfielder, especially as they would instead be joining rival sides.

Keep an eye on this situation to see how Borussia Dortmund respond to Real Madrid’s offering.
