Arsenal against Chelsea have become a theme of the January transfer window so far. We saw how Graham Potter’s side beat Mikel Arteta’s team to the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk, we are now monitoring the situation of Moises Caicedo, and then is also Malo Gusto.
We all know how Arsenal were in talks for Mudryk before London and Premier League rivals Chelsea made a late move to snap up the Ukraine international winger.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that both Arsenal and Chelsea have made offers to Brighton and Hove Albion for Ecuador international midfielder Caicedo.
That is ongoing situation.
Another potential transfer battle between Arsenal and Chelsea is for Lyon right-back Malo Gusto, although at the moment it seems that the Blues are willing it.
Arsenal-linked Malo Gusto wants to join Chelsea
90min have reported that Arsenal are among the clubs who are interested in the 19-year-old French right-back in the January transfer window.

The Gunners have reportedly scouted the teenager in action for Lyon this season.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Barcelona are also reported to be interested in Gusto.
However, according to 90min, the Lyon right-back wants to move to Chelsea.
The repot has claimed that Gusto is pushing for Lyon to sell him to the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners in the final days of the January transfer window.
Lyon have refused Chelsea’s opening bid, and the teenager is pushing for his French club to get a deal done now.
It seems that like with Mudryk, Arsenal will miss out on the signing of Gusto to Chelsea.
