Newcastle United are reportedly set to let Emmanuel Riviere, Florian Thauvin and Henri Saivet leave the club permanently this summer.
According to The Mirror, Newcastle United are ready to offload Henri Saivet, Florian Thauvin and Emmanuel Riviere in the summer once they return from loan deals.
The Magpies and manager Rafael Benitez were left frustrated having failed to make any new signings during the January transfer window, with more focus being placed on summer deals.
Newcastle’s Emmanuel Riviere
With signings expected at the end of the season, when Newcastle will hope to be back in the Premier League, some players may have to make way – and three loaned out players look primed for the chopping block.

The Mirror report that French duo Emmanuel Riviere and Florian Thauvin, as well as Senegalese midfielder Henri Saivet are set to be sold once they return from loan exits.
Florian Thauvin celebrates after scoring for Newcastle
Striker Riviere joined the club from Monaco back in the summer of 2014, but he endured a nightmare spell with Newcastle, scoring just once in 26 league games before being loaned out to Osasuna last summer – and he’s not even impressing there, having started just four La Liga games.
Winger Thauvin – snapped up from Marseille in 2015 – proved to be an expensive flop for the Magpies, starting just three league games before heading back to Marseille on loan for the second half of last season and the duration of this term.
With six goals and three assists this term, Thauvin has been getting back to his best in France, but the 24-year-old appears to have no future at St. James’ Park.
Midfielder Saivet, 26, only arrived from Bordeaux in January 2016, but made just four appearances for the club before being sent back to France, joining Saint-Etienne on loan.

Three cases of Newcastle’s failed transfer policy in recent years, Riviere, Thauvin and Saivet are seemingly available to purchase at the end of the season, with the Magpies looking to get the trio off their books for good.
