According to the Daily Record, Leeds are a potential destination for in-demand Chelsea wonderkid Billy Gilmour.
What’s the story?
Well, the Daily Record are claiming that a ‘well placed’ Chelsea source told them where the Blues might prefer to send the 20-year-old.
Leeds are mentioned as one preference, as are Norwich and Wolves.
Interestingly, The Athletic believe both Norwich and Wolves are actually trying to sign Gilmour – who cost Chelsea £500,000 – on a season-long loan.
Norwich are said to have the advantage due to Thomas Tuchel and Daniel Farke’s relationship.
However, Rangers are also interested.
In our view, Gilmour would surely be interested in a return to his old club to play Champions League football for a season.
Billy Gilmour would thrive under Marcelo Bielsa

If Chelsea really want to see Gilmour develop, they should give him to Marcelo Bielsa for a season.
The Argentine is a tremendous coach, who has taken the likes of Mateusz Klich and Kalvin Phillips to another level.
Speaking of Phillips, Gary Neville believes that Gilmour is a better player than him.
That is quite the claim, seeing as Phillips is a seriously good midfielder.

Anyway, to have both at Elland Road, orchestrating things behind Jack Harrison, Patrick Bamford and Raphinha, is a mouthwatering prospect.
Victor Orta is said to be hopeful of progress in his pursuit of a midfielder over the next fortnight.
However, if that hunt falls through, a loan bid for Gilmour would be wise.
