The 55-year-old has been out of work since leaving Rotherham United earlier this season and his experience is likely to come in very handy for Tottenham’s teenage hopefuls.

As reported by the Mail, Jackett was in charge at Millwall when Tottenham sent Harry Kane to the Lions for a loan spell early in his career, and while he cannot take the credit for what followed, Spurs fans will be hoping the experienced boss can sprinkle some magic on the next wave of strikers coming through in North London.
Tottenham have some of the most exciting young players in the game, including Marcus Edwards, Tashan Oakley-Boothe and George Marsh, but when it comes to front men many of them have headed out on loan for the second half of the campaign.
