According to The Sun, Burnley want £45 million for Nick Pope amid reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Daily Star reported in March that Tottenham and Manchester United are interested in signing the 29-year-old goalkeeper, who earns £35,000 per week as salary at Burnley, according to Spotrac.com.
The Sun has now reported that Burnley want as much as £45 million as transfer fee for Pope, and that they are already looking at Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale as a potential replacement for the England international, who was described as “absolutely fantastic” and “unbelievable” by his Clarets teammate Chris Wood on talkSPORT in March, as covered by HITC Sport.

Hugo Lloris is the first-choice goalkeeper at Tottenham and remains an important player in the team.
However, the Frenchman is 34 years of age now, and he has also made bad mistakes in recent times.
Of course, all footballers makes mistakes, but an argument can be made in favour of Spurs bringing in a younger goalkeeper to eventually replace Lloris.
Pope is at the right age to take the next step in his career and is at the top of his game at the moment.
