Michel Vorm has said on Stadium Astro that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is still one of the best in the Premier League.
Vorm is a former teammate of Lloris at Tottenham, and the Dutchman has pointed out that all footballers, including goalkeepers, make mistakes.
Lloris made a mistake during Tottenham’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Frenchman should have done better for Ilkay Gundogan’s second goal at the near post.
Vorm said on Stadium Astro when asked if Lloris is still one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League: “Easy, easy. For me, he is one of the better goalkeepers in the Prem, and I think he showed. Of course, you make mistakes, everyone makes mistakes.”

Replacing Hugo Lloris
All players make mistakes, and Lloris is no different. However, there is an argument to be made that Tottenham need to find a replacement.
The Frenchman is 34 years of age now, and Spurs should start considering bringing in a younger player to compete for the spot between the posts.
Joe Hart is Lloris’s back-up, and while the Englishman is a good goalkeeper, he is now 33.
No one is suggesting that Tottenham should just sell Lloris at the end of the season, but the North London club need to recruit a quality player perhaps in his mid-20s to at least give the Frenchman genuine competition.
