According to Calciomercato, Jeremie Boga is now likely to leave Sassuolo in 2022 amid interest from Premier League duo Crystal Palace and Leeds.
What’s the story?
Well, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, Crystal Palace made a bid to sign the 24-year-old on deadline day back in August.
The deal failed to materialise and Boga stayed in Italy, with the Daily Mail also claiming that Leeds are interested in the Ivorian.
Now, Calciomercato believe the ex-Chelsea man is likely to leave Sassuolo between January and June in 2022.
Boga’s contract expires in June 2023, and he is not interested in signing an extension.
As a result, Sassuolo must cash in, or they will lose him for nothing in 2023.
In a bid to offload him, Calciomercato believe the Serie A side have lowered their valuation of the winger from £25.5m to £17m.
What could Jeremie Boga bring to Crystal Palace or Leeds?

One thing’s for certain – the 7-cap Ivory Coast international would get fans off their seats with his incredible dribbling ability.
Boga – who is said to be a better dribbler than Liverpool’s Sadio Mane – has recorded some astonishing dribbling statistics since moving to Italy.
As WhoScored shows, Boga registered 3.3 dribbles per game in 2018/19, before recording 3.9 per game in 2019/20.

In 2020/21, he then embarked on 3.2 dribbles per game – evidently, he isn’t afraid to take defenders on over and over again.
Should Crystal Palace win the race, Boga would strike up a deadly wing pairing with Wilfried Zaha, and if Leeds win, him and Raphinha should cause full-backs huge problems.
Keep an eye on this saga, with Boga set to leave Italy very soon.
