Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United are reportedly facing stiff competition from AC Milan for Charles De Ketelaere.

Belgian publication HLN reported last week that Leeds have made an offer for Club Brugge forward De Ketelaere, who is wanted by AC Milan as well and prefers a move to the Italian champions.

Italian outlet CMW reported this month that Arsenal and Lyon are keen on the 21-year-old forward, while Southampton have also been linked and so have Everton.

However, it seems that AC Milan are determined to sign the Belgian star and have made a second and improved bid, according to CM.

CM have reported that Milan have made a new and improved offer worth up €30 million (£25.41 million) for De Ketelaere.

De Ketelaere has an agreement in principle with Milan over a five-year contract, according to the report.

Arsenal and Leeds to miss out on Charles De Ketelaere to AC Mean

In our view, unless Arsenal and Leeds United outbid AC Milan for Charles De Ketelaere, they will miss out on the signing of the Club Brugge forward.

The Belgium international reportedly wants to join Milan, and that is a big blow for Arsenal and Leeds.

However, if the Gunners and the Whites are to change the 21-year-old’s mind, then they have to show him how much they want him by offering more than what Milan have.

De Ketelaere scored 14 goals in the Jupiler Pro League for Club Brugge last season.
