Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports that Eintracht Frankfurt wide man Filip Kostic has told West Ham to wait until Wednesday before he gives them a response – as he awaits a decision from Juventus in the next few hours.
Kostic, 29, has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Frankfurt. After a stunning 2021-22 campaign, in which he won the Europa League and had a hand in 22 goals during 42 games – interest has not been difficult to find.
Earlier in the summer, Kostic was a target for Tottenham and now – West Ham want him. Reports state that Frankfurt wants £16million for his services, and the Hammers are willing to pay. But it depends on Juventus.

That is according to Italian journalist Pedulla. He says that Kostic has informed West Ham to wait until tomorrow – or Wednesday – before he makes a decision on a move to London. That is because, he is awaiting a response from Juve.
Kostic is sold on a move to Turin. He has been offered to Juventus numerous times in the window, most recently, in the past few hours. Pedulla says Juve whether to sign him or not in the next few hours – West Ham will have to wait.

Ultimately, West Ham can do very little in this situation. Signing Kostic would be a huge coup. But they have to wait for Juventus to make a decision – and Juve are more than likely to say yes in the coming hours.
Even if they do not say yes, Kostic might not even say yes to West Ham. We will only find out later this week, if Juventus do reject Kostic. But with Arthur Masuaku leaving, what a signing the 48-time Serbia ace would be for the Hammers.
